I didn't design this mug to be a bestseller.
I designed it in a hospital.
Half year ago, I fell from a horse. I couldn't walk properly, couldn't work, couldn't even make coffee by myself. I felt so useless. My friends were living their lives — getting promoted, getting married — and I was stuck in bed watching the ceiling.
One night I wrote in my notes: "You don't have to glow bright. Just glow as you can."That's all I could do that day. Just a little glow.I made it into a mug because I needed to see it every morning.
Then my best friend got engaged.I was out of the hospital but still not 100%. I wanted to give her something, but not just a pretty gift from Amazon.
I wanted to give her what I learned in that bed: In love, you don't have to be perfect every day. Some days you glow 100%, some days you glow 10%. Real love is when two people agree to glow as they can, together.
So I bought two mugs. Two different colors, same design.
One for her, one for him. That's when it hit me — this is a wedding gift.
